Spring Nail Polish

So spring is upon us but unfortunately England doesn't like to conform to the season. It's still cold, windy and rainy, but there have been some sunny days where it was almost acceptable to wear
a skirt. But a way to get into the spring mood is to paint your nails to match the season!!

For spring I think it's appropriate to bring out the bright colours. These include light pinks, mint greens, light blues, whites, just anything that puts you in a good mood!! Recently I went to boots to find some nail polishes to get my into the spring time feels. Barry M is my absolute favourite brand and it's practically the only type of nail polish that I wear due to its price and good quality. Here are a few of my favourites for spring:

First is two nail polishes from the Barry M Silk Nail Effects. This collection has natural pastel colours which I think is perfect for spring. They have an absolutely gorgeous shine to them which makes them look so luxurious. I was expecting this range to be rather watery, but I was surprised to find that it only needed 2 coats to create a beautiful even colour. Here I have them in the colours Pearl and Meadow (in respective order to the pictures). Pearl is a beautiful white which I think would look especially amazing with tanned skin (something I am not blessed with). Meadow is an amazing turquoise blue colour which is perfect for spring as it really brightens your nails. I am definitely going to consider getting others from this range as they only cost £3.99.

The next polishes are from their Nail Paint collection which is a very affordable product at only £2.99. First is Pink Flamingo which is a very unique pink colour. It is almost like a salmon colour which is bright and cheery for spring.

Next is Strawberry Ice Cream which I think looks so fun on the nails. This light pink colour looks natural and easy going, perfect for spring.

One of my absolute favourite nail polishes of all time is the Textured Nail Effect in Ridley Road. It reminds me of the Tiffany & Co sort of turquoise colour which is so fresh and springlike to me. This is priced at £3.99.

I hope you have enjoyed my post and I have inspired you to try new nail polishes for spring! Let me know what your favourite spring nail polishes are so I can add them to my collection.

  2. I can't believe how grey and dull the weather is for Spring, or has March always been this miserable? I can not wait for it to be sunny! These nail polishes are lovely, I really like Barry M products x
