Everyday Eye makeup | Eyes Of The Day #1
So I know it's been years since I last wrote a post, but may I just say, I am here to stay! Exams are finally over, and I am so much more free that I do in fact have time to write on my blog again! I have so many great ideas and I just cant wait to share them with you!
So to start off again on my blogging adventure, I thought I would share with you my current eye makeup routine. Of course you are going to want to prepare your eyes in whatever way you would usually do, with your usual eye creams and potions. And then we can get started.
Next I am going to add a beautiful shimmery eyeshadow to my lids. My favourite is the L'Oreal Paris Colour Appeal in Golden Shimmer for £5.99. I absolutely love this colour as it is very neutral and doesn't look too orange or yellow on my eyes. Adding a bright shimmery colour to your eyes makes you look a lot more awake and really brightens up your look.
This next step is definitely optional. If you're feeling like you want to put a little bit more effort into your look, just add some liner. You can do it to suit your likings, but I like to do a very thin with a slight wing. I am by no means a professional at all, and there are definitely days were I have to redo my entire eye again because I ruin it. But recently I've found the Topshop Magic Liner in Engraved (for £6.50 at Topshop) and it has honestly made my life 10 billion times easier!
No look is every compete without mascara! So first you are going to want to curl those gorgeous lashes to make them look ever so luxurious, before applying your mascara. Here I am using the Lancome Hypnose Mascara which is honestly the best mascara I have ever used. I doesn't clump, it gives volume and length and luckily for me, I got it for £10 when it usually £22.50!! It is definitely worth the price tag!
So here is the finial finished look! This is essentially my everyday makeup look maybe minus the eyeliner, depending on how I am feeling that day. It is super easy and simple but I think it looks really natural and pretty. I hope you have gained some useful information or tips from this post!
I hope you have enjoyed this post, and let me know what you think in the comments!! Have you tried any of these products? If so let me know what you think of them!
